Reports coming into cathareo’s desk has it that angry youths in Enugu have shut down the city completely and in severehunt of the controversial Catholic Priest, Revd Fr Ejike Mbaka.
Our correspondent who was in the city, met bonfires from Shoprite through the Enugu Abakaliki Expressway, down to the Fire Service area where the Phones Market is located with a mammoth crowd chanting songs of liberation and solidari. It is also reported that major roads in the city has been blocked with tones on fire ablaze and the city on fire. Otigba Junction is complyely blocked, living commuters were stranded on the ends of Ogui Road, New Haven, New Layout and Abakaliki Express respectively.
Signposts were also torn down by youths who held leaves and chanted #EndSARS, #ENDNIGERIANOW as they marched about. Turning back vehicles and preventing either entry or exit in and out of the state as well.
In a similar report, it is gather that the youths had also marched to Adoration Ground, where Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka usually held prayers every Wednesday. They had marched down there to apprehend him, but met his absence as he is said to be on the run.
However, the report has not been confirmed.
